This is why we have a straightforward process for refund requests, ensuring both clients and talents can manage their finances effectively within our platform. Here’s how and when a client can initiate a refund request:

Pending Offer

If you’ve taken the step to fund an offer but find that the talent hasn’t accepted it yet, you’re in a position to retract the offer and ask for your money back. Follow these simple steps:

1. Navigate to Team > Hire > Offers.

2. Click on the offer in question to access its detailed page.

3. Hit the "Withdraw" button.

This action will retract your funded offer, and you can then request a refund. To understand more about managing offers, click here.

End of Contract

Sometimes, for various reasons, a contract may need to be concluded with funds still sitting in escrow. Here’s what you need to know:

To Request an Escrow Refund: Terminate the contract through the platform. If you have unused escrow funds that you'd like returned, here's the process:

1. Head to Team > Hire > Contracts, and select the contract you wish to end.

2. Click on the three dots icon and choose "End Contract" from the dropdown menu.

3. In the end contract form, you have the option to "Pay nothing and request a refund" or to "Pay full escrow".

Should you opt for an escrow refund, explain your reasoning and await approval from the talent.

In scenarios where the talent remains unresponsive, rest assured that input.fm support is there to help. We’ll step in to ensure a fair resolution for all parties involved.

When Will I Get My Refund?

Once the refund is approved by either the talent or our dedicated input.fm team, the returned funds will be promptly processed back to your bank account.
