Begin an Interview Message Thread
Interested in kickstarting the interview process on input.fm? Follow these steps:
Ensure you have an active Gig and a talent that has applied to it. To view all received proposals, navigate within input.fm to Team > Hire > Proposals.
Initiate the interview by clicking the button with a message icon, found within the proposals. You can also locate the "Start Interview" button directly on the Proposal page.
Alternatively, send a Gig Invite directly from the talent's profile page. To do that, tap on the button with three dots and select "Invite to Gig" option. Once the talent accepts your invite, the interview process automatically initiates.
Following these actions, the applicant is transitioned to your Messages section for further communication and is also conveniently embedded within the Proposal page for easy reference. Messages page can be found in the main navigation bar on the left.
Conducting the Interview
With input.fm, you're not restricted to text; our platform enables you to venture beyond, thanks to our audio and video interview options via input.fm Calls (see our guide on input.fm Calls).
Schedule the interview at a time that suits both you and the talent and engage in an in-depth discussion to gauge if the talent is well-suited to meet your project's needs.
