Welcome to input.fm, the platform designed to help you organize talent and manage music projects efficiently. We provide the tools and resources you need to bring your music projects to life. Follow this step-by-step guide to set up and manage a project on our platform.

Step 1: Start Your Project

Access the input.fm web interface and locate the "Create New" button in the header area on the right side. Click on it and select "New Project" from the dropdown menu. This action opens the gateway to initiating your project.

Step 2: Fill Out Project Details

You will see a form requesting essential information about your music project. Here’s what you'll need to fill in:

  • Title: Enter the name of your track or album.

  • Release Date: Specify when your project will be released. If undecided, you may leave this field blank or set a tentative future date.

  • Project Type: Indicate whether your music is a single track, part of an EP, or an album. If it belongs to an existing album, please specify this.

  • Genres: Select the genre(s) that best describe your sound to help categorize your project accurately.

  • Spotify: If available, include the Spotify link for your project to facilitate easy access for listeners.

Step 3: Publish Your Project

After ensuring all details are correct and complete, click the "Publish Project" button. This will officially list your project on input.fm, making it visible to our community and beyond.

Step 4: Manage Credits

Recognizing collaborators is crucial. As you engage with other users for your project through gigs or direct collaborations, ensure to credit their contributions accurately. This not only respects their work but also helps in building a comprehensive portfolio that showcases the collaborative spirit of your project.

Step 5: Expand Your Project's Impact

Link your project to relevant gigs and tag it with "Project Involvement" to attract the right talent and professionals. This enhances your project’s reach and opens up opportunities for further collaboration, tapping into the potential of input.fm’s vibrant network.

By following these steps, you’re not just launching a project, you're setting the stage for career advancement and industry recognition. At input.fm, each project is a milestone in your musical journey, and we are here to support every note along the way.
