Whether you're a performer or a music industry professional, getting paid for your passion and hard work should be simple and straightforward. Here’s everything you need to know about the payment types and processes on our platform.

Types of Payment Models on input.fm

As part of our dedication to flexibility and security, we provide various payment models to suit every type of engagement, ranging from one-off shows to long-term gigs:

  1. Flat Rate - You receive a set amount upon completion of the work.

  2. Hourly Rate - Payment is calculated based on the agreed hourly rate multiplied by the hours worked.

  3. Milestones - For longer projects, payment is divided into milestones. You get paid as each milestone is completed.

For live shows, the payment models include:

  1. No Base or Minimum Amount - Compensation is based solely on shared sales revenue.

  2. Base Amount - A fixed amount, plus a percentage of sales.

  3. Minimum Guarantee Amount - A guaranteed minimum payment, regardless of sales.

  4. Ticket Sales Revenue Shared to Talent - A percentage of ticket sales.

  5. Merch Sales Revenue Shared to Talent - A percentage of merchandise sales post-show.

Expenses such as travel, accommodation, and food and beverage may also be covered under your contract. You will need to report these expenses back to the client to verify the amounts.
